This group of photos was taken between the Heiss Mountain Road trailhead and the Big Possum Creek crossing site of the Cumberland Trail in Hamilton County Tennessee. Click on an image for information about & a larger version of the photo.

The Cumberland Trail, which will span the state of Tennessee form north to south, is currently under construction. About half of the trail has been completed and is open to hikers. For up-to-date information and directions to open segments of the trail, follow the link (at the bottom of the page) to the Cumberland Trail Conference's Website.
